Dues for season are only $40 per family.
We encourage all racer families to become members of the Gore Mountain Ski Club. Club dues are $40 per family per year and payment can be made to the Gore Mountain Ski Club. These dues help offset the cost of the events which are held during the year. They also help support the Training Center and race program by funding a variety of equipment. Your support enhances the race program for skiers and their families. The Club raises funds, which are used to buy equipment for the Gore Mountain NYSEF training Center. Ski team events such as dry land Training, World Cup and mountain Council races, the year-end Awards Banquets and the Kandahar rely upon ski club support to make the events fun and enjoyable for all. Membership affords families reduced fees at club events. All members are encouraged to include e-mail addresses on their application so that we can notify them of unscheduled events and changes.
Your club dues also benefit your family directly. Club members will receive discounted prices at club socials and the year-end awards banquet. Each ski club racer will receive a team patch when they register and a trophy at the end of the year. Our membership Directory will connect you with other ski team families and this web page will keep you up to date with ski team and club events. Each spring the Club sponsors a bulk order of Karbon ski team jackets and outerwear; members benefit for excellent pricing. Additional ski team merchandise (hats, t-necks, and fleece vests) can be ordered at the team gear web page. Used equipment can be bought and sold at dry land training swap or by posting items on our web-site under the team gear web page or on the club bulletin board (located in the brown bag lunch room in the lodge). The combined experience of seasoned ski team parents is available in the “Inside Scoop” hand-book. Club members organize ski race events like the Gore Family Open and the Club Championships.
