Sharpen and wax the skis. Get the boots, gloves and poles. Remember the sunblock, snacks and other goodies. Ski season is underway, and the training season starts Saturday, Dec. 6.
The mountain looks great. Topridge, Ruby Run, Sunway, Quick Silver, Pine Knot and Tannery were all open on Thanksgiving weekend.
